On August 3, 2021, EPA Region 6 issued a Proposed Order, and on September 20, 2021, EPA Region 6 issued a Final Administrative Order for compliance under its authority pursuant to Section 1421 of the Safe Drinking Water Act to Perdure Petroleum, LLC located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Respondent violated regulations set forth at 40 C.F.R. 147.2903(b), and 147.2912(b) by maintaining the well in a manner that could allow the movement of fluid that contains contaminants into an USDW and by failing to successfully demonstrate mechanical integrity. Perdure Petroleum, LLC must respond to EPA Region 6 within 120 days after the effective date of a Final Order.
