On July 21,Region 3 issued a Notice of Refusal of Admission (NORA) to the U.S. Customs and BorderProtection to refuse admission of an unregistered pesticide for treatment of sanitary wastbins, imported by New Life Solutions, LLC through the port of Richmond-Petersburg, VA. On August 3, EPA received information to demonstrate the importer has begun the export process. The Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services was copied on the NORA, and FIFRA registration violations are exempt from EJ screen.
