On August 16, 2021, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Compliance Order on Consent (ACOC) under its authority pursuant to the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) to the Veritiv Corporation located in Austin, Texas. The ACOC was issued in response to violations of: 1. notification requirements pursuant to Section 3010, and 2. small quantity generator requirements under 40 CFR Part 262. The ACOC requires Veritiv to satisfy the requirements established in the Compliance Order section of the ACOC. Veritiv must respond to EPA Region 6 within 90 calendar days from the effective date of the order.
