On August 25, 2021, EPA Region 6 issued a Consent Agreement and Final Order (CAFO) under its authority pursuant to Section 16(a) of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) to Woodward Iodine Corporation of Woodward, OK. The CAFO was issued in response to a violation of Section 15(3)(B) of TSCA for failing to submit a report for iodine to EPA during the 2016 Chemical Data Reporting submission period. The CAFO requires Woodward Iodine Corporation to correct the violation and pay a civil penalty of $23,460. The penalty must be paid within thirty days of the filing date of the CAFO.
