On August 18, 2021, EPA Region 6 issued an Final Administrative Order for compliance under its authority pursuant to Section 1421 of the Safe Drinking Water Act to Jones & Buck Development, LLC located in Sedan, Kansas. Respondent violated regulations set forth at 40 C.F.R. Sections 147.2903(b), and 147.2912(b) by maintaining the well in a manner that could allow the movement of fluid that contains contaminants into an USDW and by failing to successfully demonstrate mechanical integrity. Jones & Buck Development, LLC must respond to EPA Region 6 within 120 days after the effective date of a Final Order.
