On August 18, 2021, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order for compliance under its authority pursuant to Section 1421 of the Safe Drinking Water Act to Newfrontier Drilling & Production, LLC located in Hominy, Oklahoma. Respondent violated regulations set forth at 40 C.F.R. �� 147.2903(b), 147.2920(b) and Part I.B. of the permit by maintaining the well in a manner that could allow the movement of fluid that contains contaminants into an USDW and by failing to successfully demonstrate mechanical integrity. Newfrontier Drilling & Production, LLC must respond to EPA Region 6 within 30 days after the effective date of a Final Order.
