On September 1, 2021, EPA Region 10 issued an expedited settlement agreement and final order to
South Tacoma Glass Inc located in Lake Wood, Washington, for violations of TSCAs Lead-Based
Paint Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule occurring in Tacoma, Washington. EPA Region 10
alleged that South Tacoma Glass Inc failed to become RRP firm certified prior to offering to perform
renovation work on a pre-1978 residential property as required by the RRP Rule. Respondent agreed to
pay a penalty amount of $1,000.
