This Administrative Settlement Agreement for the Payment of Response Costs
(?Settlement?) is entered into voluntarily by and between the United States on behalf of the
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and TriStar North, Inc. (?Lessee?) (collectively, the
?Parties?). This Settlement provides for the payment of certain response costs incurred by the
United States at or in connection with the property located at Tax Parcels 36165.9016,
36096.9063, and 36033.0111, Mead, Spokane County, Washington, known as the Former Kaiser
Smelter Superfund Site.
