On September 14, 2021, EPA Region 10 issued an expedited settlement agreement and final order to
Bill Griesmeyer Const located in Gig Harbor, Washington, for violations of TSCAs Lead-Based Paint
Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule occurring in Tacoma, Washington. EPA Region 10
alleged that Bill Griesmeyer Const failed to become RRP firm certified prior to offering to perform
renovation work on a pre-1978 residential property as required by the RRP Rule. Respondent agreed to
pay a penalty amount of $1,000.
