On September 20, 2021, EPA Region 6 issued a Consent Agreement and Final Order under its authority pursuant to the Toxic Substances Control Act to Showcase Painting located in New Orleans, Louisiana. The CAFO was issued in response to violations of the Lead Paint Renovation Repair and Painting Rule in 40 C.F.R. section 745. The CAFO requires Showcase Painting to return to compliance. No penalty was sought based on ability to pay and other considerations.
