On September 23, 2021, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to the Clean Water Act (CWA) to Manta Ray Gathering, LLC located in Houston, Texas. The AO was issued in response to violations of: NPDES Permit # GMG290159. The AO requires Manta Ray Gathering to submit non-reported Discharge Monitoring Reports, identify causes of of effluent limit violations and repair the causes to prevent future limit violations and submit a report. Manta Ray Gathering must respond to EPA Region 6 within 30 days of the effective date of the AO.
