On September 28, 2021, EPA issued Settlement Agreement for Recovery of Past Response Costs, Index No. CERCLA-02-2021-2044, to the Respondent, pursuant to Section 122(h)(1) of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act, 42 U.S.C. 9622(h)(1) at the Cayuga County Groundwater Contamination Superfund Site located in Cayuga County, New York. Under the Agreement, the Respondent will pay $10,850,257.53, which is 100% of EPA?s unreimbursed past response costs through March 31, 2013 plus all accrued interest on that amount.
