On September 28, Region 3 issued a Notice of Refusal of Admission (NORA) to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection to refuse admission of a misbranded pesticide imported by Dunlop Protective Footwear USA through the port of Baltimore, MD. The importer has stated they will send the product back to the manufacturer and they will be required to provide the shipping documentation to EPA. The Maryland Department of Agriculture was copied on the NORA, and FIFRA misbranding violations are exempt from EJ screen.
