On February 12, 2021, EPA Region 1 issued an Immediate Compliance Order under Section 113(a)(3) of the Clean Air Act to Cromwell Village Associates, LLC, Cromwell, CT. Cromwell Village Associates, LLC was cited as an owner for failing to provide EPA with notification at least ten days before demolition work began at the former Nike Missile Site located at 150 Country Squire Drive in Cromwell, Connecticut. The order requires Cromwell Village Associates, LLC to immediately comply with the Clean Air Act Asbestos NESHAP.
