Data mining several EPA databases revealed that Axel Royal Schertz, TX had failed to report zinc to the TRI for calendar year 2017, more than a year late from due date of July 2, 2018 (July 1st fell on a Sunday). Facility was contacted, negotiations proceeded and a settlement was reached. CAFO was filed for $4,400 on October 25, 2021.
