On February 4, 2022, EPA Region 10 issued an expedited settlement agreement and final order to Blue Sound Construction Inc located in Kenmore, Washington, for violations of TSCA?s Lead-Based Paint Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule occurring in Seattle, Washington. EPA Region 10 alleged Blue Sound Construction Inc failed to become RRP firm certified prior to performing renovation work on a pre-1978 residential property as required by the RRP Rule. Respondent agreed to pay a penalty amount of $1,000.
