EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) to the City of Gatesville, Texas. The Administrative Order was issued in response to violations of Section 1433(a) of the SDWA. The America Water Infrastructure Act (AWIA) requires that community water systems (CWS) serving communities with populations between 3,301 and 49,999 to conduct a Risk and Resilience Assessment (RRA) of its drinking water system by June 30, 2021. City of Gatesville, TX must respond to EPA Region 6 by December 24, 2021.
