On December 2, 2021, Region 3 entered a Consent Agreement and Final Order (CAFO) resolving alleged violations of the RCRA by Voith Hydro, Inc. at its York, PA facility. Violations included operating without a RCRA permit, failure to keep hazardous waste containers closed, RCRA CC violations and hazardous waste determination violations. discharge limit exceedances, poor housekeeping and unauthorized stormwater discharges. The facility is not in an area determined to be of potential EJ concern. The Respondent will pay $41,000 in civil penalties under the CAFO. EPA notified PADEP of its action.
