On January 25, 2022, EPA Region 10 issued an expedited settlement agreement and final order to Kustom US Inc located in Pasco, Washington, for violations of TSCA?s Lead-Based Paint Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule occurring in Richland, Washington. EPA Region 10 alleged Kustom US Inc failed to retain and, if requested, make available all records necessary to demonstrate compliance with the recordkeeping and reporting requirements of the RRP Rule for a period of three years following completion of the renovation work for all pre-1978 residential properties. Respondent agreed to pay a penalty amount of $1,000.
