## Summary

On February 19, 2022, EPA Region 10 issued a Stop Sale, Use, or Removal Order to Purple
Antimicrobial (Purple) (Medford, OR) for violations of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and
Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). EPA found that Purple was advertising and distributing the unregistered
pesticides  P-19  and  Multipurpose Cleaner and Degreaser  in violation of FIFRA Section
12(a)(1)(A). The unregistered pesticides were being advertised on Purples website and third-party
retailers as antimicrobials.
