On February 1, 2022, EPA Region 6 issued a Consent Agreement and Final Order under its authority pursuant to the Toxic Substances Control Act to R H Carter Company, Inc. located in Dallas, Texas. The CAFO was issued in response to violations of the Lead Paint Renovation, Repair, and Painting Rule in 40 C.F.R. section 745. The CAFO requires R H Carter Co to return to compliance and pay a penalty of $25,252.
