On October 5, 2021, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to the Clean Water Act to Manta Ray Offshore Gathering Company located in Houston, Texas. The AO was issued in response to violations of effluent limits established in Permit GMG290619. The AO requires Manta Ray Offshore Gathering Company to identify and remedy the causes of the violations and repair them. Manta Ray Offshore Gathering Company must respond to EPA Region 6 within 30 days of the effective date of the AO.
