On April 20, 2022, EPA Region 6 issued a Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to Section 1421 of the Safe Drinking Water Act to Calgary Energy, LLC located in Skiatook, OK. The Proposed AO was issued in response to violations of 40 C.F.R. Sections 147.2903, 147.2907, and 147.2909 through 147.2918. The AO requires Calgary Energy, LLC to to successfully demonstrate mechanical integrity of the well; plug the well; or convert the well to production. Calgary Energy, LLC must respond to EPA Region 6 within 30 days of receiving the AO.
