On March 8, 2022, EPA Region 2 signed a streamlined administrative settlement agreement pursuant to Section 122(h) of CERCLA for recovery of 100% of its response costs incurred at the 106 William Mott Drive Superfund Site, located in Newburgh, Orange County, New York. Under the Agreement, the Respondent will pay $149,153.26, which includes accrued interest. In May 2016, EPA began a response action that included overseeing the Respondent's efforts to mitigate trichloroethene (TCE) vapor intrusion contamination at the Site and EPA performance of subslab air monitoring.
