On July 5, 2022, EPA Region 10 issued an expedited settlement agreement and final order to Kline Const & Assoc LLC located in Yakima, Washington, for violations of TSCA's Lead-Based Paint Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule occurring in Yakima, Washington. EPA Regio 10 alleged Kline Const & Assoc LLC failed create and keep for 3-years the RRP recordkeeping documentations, and to become RRP firm certified prior to performing renovation work on a pre-1978 residential property as required by the RRP Rule. Respondent agreed to pay a penalty amount of $800.
