On April 14, 2022, EPA Region 10 filed an Expedited Settlement Agreement (ESA) with Ravn Alaska to address Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) violations at its facility in Anchorage, Alaska. The violations involve failure to conduct a hazardous waste determination, failure to mark or label universal waste lamps, and failure to mark or label containers of used oil. Under the terms of the Agreement, Ravn Alaska certified it has corrected the RCRA violations and will pay a $3,750 civil penalty within 30 days.
