On February 28, 2022, US EPA Region 6 issued a Notice of Warning (NOW) under its authority pursuant to Section 9(c)(3) of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), 7 U.S.C. Section 136g(c)(3), to Winzer Corporation of Plano, TX. The EPA found evidence of Winzer's distribution or sale of the registered product Maxim Facility Plus with amended claims that had not yet been approved by the EPA.
