On May 19, 2022, a U.S. Magistrate Judge signed an ex parte administrative warrant granting EPA access to the Zina Farms Site in Hudson, Massachusetts. This warrant is necessary because EPA has been unable to secure voluntary access to the Site from the property owner. The warrant provides EPA with access to perform a preliminary assessment and site investigation under the Superfund removal program to investigate the potential release of PFAS. EPA has been working closely with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the Town of Hudson on this planned site investigation.
