On June 3, 2022, EPA Region 10 issued a consent agreement and final order to Swanson Group Mfg. LLC (Swanson), resolving violations of EPCRA Section 313 occurring in Springfield, OR. EPA alleged that Swanson violated EPCRA by failing to file Form R reports to the Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) for diisocyanates processed by the facility in 2018 and 2020. Swanson has submitted its Form R reports to the TRI and agreed to pay a penalty of $ 35,984.
