On May 9, 2022, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order under its authority pursuant to Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) to the Tuttle Water System in Tuttle, Oklahoma. The AO was issued in response to violations of the SDWA, specifically, the Risk and Resilience Rule requirements. The AO requires the Tuttle water system to conduct a risk and resilience assessment (RRA) and revise or develop an emergency response plan (ERP) and certify to EPA that an RRA and ERP were conducted. The Tuttle Water System must respond to EPA Region 6 by May 27, 2022.
