On May 17, Region 3 issued a Notice of Warning (NOW) to Crevel Distribution, Inc., a wholesaler located in Baltimore, MD, for the sale and distribution of Triple Accion , LIMPIA+DISINFECTA+BLANQUEA CLOROX , a laundry detergent making pesticidal claims. This product is not registered with EPA and is considered to be an unregistered pesticide. It is a violation of FIFRA to sell or distribute an unregistered pesticide. Crevel Distribution, Inc. has 10 days to respond to the NOW by outlining what steps it has taken or will take to achieve future compliance with FIFRA. The Maryland Department of Agriculture (MDA) was copied on the NOW. FIFRA violations of this type are exempt from EJ screening.
