On May 31, 2022, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) letter to BP Exploration&Production, Inc, for violations of NPDES General Permit GMG290110. The violations identified were for effluent discharges and non-receipt DMRs for multiple facilities located in the Gulf of Mexico. BP Exploration&Production, Inc is provided thirty (30) days from the received date of the AO to respond to EPA Region 6. These are offshore facilities and therefore are not EJ facilities.
