On August 2, 2022, EPA Region 10 issued an expedited settlement agreement and final order to Clearwater Home Services L.L.C. located in Boise, Idaho, for violations of TSCA's Lead-Based Paint Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule occurring in Boise, Idaho. EPA Region 10 alleged Clearwater Home Services L.L.C. failed to become RRP firm certified prior to performing renovation work on a pre-1978 residential property as required by the RRP Rule. According to EJScreen, the renovation occurred in an area of potential EJ concern for indexes in the State Percentile and USA Percentile. Respondent agreed to pay a penalty amount of $200.
