On July 21, 2022, EPA Region 10 issued an expedited settlement agreement and final order to Andy Thompson Construction, Inc. (?Andy Thompson Construction?) located in Boise, Idaho, for violations of TSCA's Lead-Based Paint Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule. EPA Region 10 alleged Andy Thompson Construction failed to become RRP firm certified prior to performing renovation work on a pre-1978 residential property, as required by the RRP Rule. According to EJScreen, the renovation occurred in an area of potential EJ concern for index in the State Percentile evaluation. Respondent agreed to pay a penalty amount of $200.
