On August 23, 2022, EPA Region 10 issued an expedited settlement agreement and final order to C & N Construction of Idaho LLC (?C & N Construction?) located in Meridian, Idaho, for violations of TSCA's Lead-Based Paint Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule occurring in Boise, Idaho. EPA Region 10 alleged C & N Construction failed to become RRP firm certified prior to performing renovation work on a pre-1978 residential property. According to EJScreen, the renovation did not occur in an area of potential EJ concern for indexes in the State Percentile and/or the USA Percentile. Respondent agreed to pay a penalty amount of $200.
