Emergency Administrative Order issued to the Adventure West Council, Inc., Boy Scouts of America, re: Camp Buffalo Bill public water system. Following recent flooding, a violation of the maximum contaminant level (MCL) for E. coli occurred when a routine, 3 repeat, and a triggered source sample all tested positive for E coli. These conditions presented an imminent and substantial endangerment to human health. E. coli are bacteria whose presence indicate that the water may have been contaminated with human or animal wastes which can cause short-term health effects.
