On March 26, 2020, the EPA and Hexion entered into a New Owner Audit Agreement, with Hexion agreeing to audit its compliance with the Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) Program under the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) Section 313.
As a result of its compliance assessments, Hexion self-disclosed potential violations of the TRI Program under the EPCRA Section 313 at 16 facilities.
