## Summary

On September 30, 2022, the ECAD Division Director issued two Administrative Orders on Consent (AOCs) to Logan County Public Service District (LCPSD) for SDWA violations at its Greenville and Northern Regional Facilities.  Greenville serves approximately 4,652 customers and Northern Regional serves approximately 16,949 customers per year; both are  community water system  under the SDWA, which requires sampling and analyzing drinking water and reporting the analytical results to the State.  Violations at both systems include: failure to conduct an operational evaluation for disinfectant by-products; failure to respond to and correct minor and significant deficiencies identified in a state sanitary survey; failure to monitor for several contaminants; failure to conduct an operational evaluation; failure to monitor; failure to issue required public notices; failure to produce a Consumer Confidence Report; and failure to comply with America?s Water Infrastructure Act.  The AOCs require LCPSD to comply with all aspects of the SDWA and its implementing regulations, to provide a corrective action plan for each facility; and to send a written response to EPA and the west Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources indicating how and when the systems will address the significant deficiencies and other violations and comply with America?s Water Infrastructure Act requirements.
