The importer,Shenzhen Sinoriko Technology Co Limited, attempted to import 660 Proaller UV Germicidal Lamp Light devices into the United States.The broker provided photos of the labels on the packaging. The Proaller UV Germicidal Lamp Lights pesticide device claims it can be used for Disinfection and Sterilization. These claims are misleading because they imply that the product can or will prevent or control disease but do not provide definitive results for sterilization. All pesticide devices are required to be labeled in accordance with 40 C.F.R. Part 156, and any devices entering the United States cannot be misbranded (see Section 17 of FIFRA, 7 U.S.C. Section 136o(c)).
