On January 25, 2023, EPA Region 6 issued a Final Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to Section 1423(c) of the Safe Drinking Water Act to CapturePoint LLC (Respondent) located in Shidler, OK. The AO was issued in response to violations of 40 C.F.R. Sections 147.2903, 147.2907, and 147.2909 through 147.2918. The AO proposes to the Respondent to successfully demonstrate mechanical integrity of the well; plug the well; or convert the well to production.
