Data mining several EPA databases revealed Hixson Lumber Sales failed to certify the TRI report copper compounds for the 2021 calendar year on or before July 1, 2022. Certification of each TRI chemical reported is mandatory for the form to be acceptable by EPA. A proposed settlement was offered to Hixson Lumber Sales of which they accepted. A CAFO was issued on October 19, 2022 to settle the violations of EPCRA section 313.
