On November 14, 2022, EPA filed an Expedited Settlement Agreement (ESA) to simultaneously commence and conclude enforcement against Steelcraft, Inc. d/b/a Singletary Systems of Millbury, Massachusetts for a penalty of $500. The ESA address alleged violations of Section 7(c) of FIFRA, 7 U.S.C. (S) 136e for failure to file or timely file annual pesticide production report(s) in connection with each registered establishment. The requirement for registered establishments to report production and sales information for pesticides and other pesticidal products/devices helps EPA carry out compliance, risk assessment and risk reduction functions important for protecting human health and the environment. Without annual production reports, EPA cannot determine where and in what manner pesticidal products are being produced, sold, and distributed. FIFRA Section 7 reporting requirements are enforced federally and not delegated to the states.
