On February 23, 2023, EPA Region 10 filed an expedited settlement agreement resolving violations of the Construction General Permit by Brighton Development Inc., located in Meridian, Idaho. Brighton Development Inc. is the owner and operator of the Quartet Northeast Subdivision Number One construction site. In 2019, Brighton Development Inc. failed to follow its Construction Stormwater General permit, and failed to retain inspections reports in accordance with its Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan. The company has agreed to pay a penalty of $4,320 to resolve the violations.
