This Order requires the Town to prepare and submit to EPA for review and approval, with a copy to NYSDEC, an itemized list of all rehabilitation measures and/or corrective actions necessary to eliminate unpermitted discharges of sanitary sewage from its collection system. Between 2018 to 2021, the Town had at least 7,777,200 gallons of sewage discharge to waterbodies. A follow-up Order on Consent will be issued.
