On 1/19/23, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Region 6, issued a Formal Notice of Warning under its authority pursuant to the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) to Lone Star Specialty Products LLC of Lone Star, TX. The EPA alleges that Lone Star Specialty Products violated Section 12(a)(2)(L) of FIFRA, 7 U.S.C. Section 136j(a)(2)(L), by failing to submit a pesticide production report for the 2021 calendar year by the due date of 3/1/22. Repeat violations could subject Lone Star Specialty Products to a civil administrative penalty, or other actions.
