On 1/27/23, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Region 6, issued a Formal Notice of Warning under its authority pursuant to the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) to Farmers Cooperative of Western Oklahoma for its establishment in Custer City, OK. The EPA alleges that Farmers Cooperative of Western Oklahoma violated Section 12(a)(2)(L) of FIFRA, 7 U.S.C. Section 136j(a)(2)(L), by failing to submit an initial pesticide production report within 30 days after the first registration of the establishment. Repeat violations could subject Farmers Cooperative of Western Oklahoma to a civil administrative penalty, or other actions.
