On 1/27/23, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Region 6, issued a Formal Notice of Warning under its authority pursuant to the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) to West Sanitation Services Inc., dba Aerowest International, of Baton Rouge, LA. The EPA alleges that West Sanitation Services violated Section 12(a)(2)(L) of FIFRA, 7 U.S.C. Section 136j(a)(2)(L), by failing to submit an initial pesticide production report within 30 days after an establishment was registered. Repeat violations could subject West Sanitation Services to a civil administrative penalty, or other actions.
