Crown Bay Marine Cargo Terminal is a maritime shipping facility covering approximately 8 acres, and operated by Respondent in St. Thomas, USVI. The Facility was inspected by EPA on September 8, 2022 and found to be an industrial operation that is regulated for storm water discharges. The Inspection revealed that the facility discharges storm water associated with an industrial activity and has failed to secure the appropriate NPDES permit to operate while discharging pollutants in a water of the US. EPA has taken enforcement action against the Operator by issuing ACO, CWA-02-2023-3106 on February 14, 2023, requiring the Respondent to come into full compliance with applicable regulations of the CWA.
