On February 8, 2023, the Region 3 Deputy Regional Administrator signed a Remedial Design/Remedial Action Consent Decree in connection with the Hanlin-Allied-Olin Superfund Site in Moundsville, WV. Pursuant to the Consent Decree, Settling Defendants will perform all work pursuant to the Operable Unit 1 (OU-1) Record of Decision and will pay all of EPA past and future response costs incurred by EPA in connection with OU-1 at the Site. The Consent Decree has been transmitted to the Department of Justice for signature and lodging with the United States District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia. According to EPA information, this site not in an EJ community of concern.
