On March 8, 2023, EPA Region 10 settled with Kemira Chemicals Inc. located in, Washougal, Washington for violations of FIFRA. Kemira Chemicals failed to file their Annual Pesticide Production Report for Pesticide-Producing and Device-Producing Establishments (EPA Form 3540-16) by the reporting deadline two times within five years. Reports are due by March 1 of each year. They failed to timely submit reports for calendar years 2018 and 2021. The company agreed to pay a penalty of $1000.
